LAURENS won on her frist start out in a Maiden Fillies´ Stakes race (7f) at Doncaster last night for Karl Burke. In a field of 15, Laurens jumped the gates well to settle in midfield and won easily with Exhort (Entreat) in second and Sultanaa (Acclamation) in third.
Laurens is a 2yo filly by Siyouni and out of Recambe (Cape Cross). The filly was part of Coulonces Sales’ first draft sold at GOFFS UK’s Premier Yearling Sale last year. She became the top priced filly at the sale, when knocked down for 220,000 GNS to John and Jessica Dance.
