Four-year-old filly Laurens was an impressive winner of the Group 1 Prix Rothschild for Karl Burke at Deauville today.
Laurens finished half a length in front of the runner-up with another length and a half back to the previously unbeaten Obligate. It was her first win of the season and her 6th Group 1.
The filly was part of Coulonces Sales’ first draft sold at GOFFS UK’s Premier Yearling Sale in 2016. She became the top-priced filly at the sale when knocked down for 220,000 GNS to John and Jessica Dance.
Meanwhile, at Ascot, U.K., two-year-old Brian Meehan trained filly Aroha finished second in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Keeneland Stakes at Ascot. Aroha is owned by Coulonces Sales Anna Sundström and Robert Sinclair. A yearling picture is below.

Congratulations to all connections!
